6 Month Appointment

Colt and Cora had their 6 month wellness check and immunization appointment.  I feel so badly for them.  They get fevers every time. Cora's was 99.7 this morning and Colt's is 102.3. Poor bubby! He runs a pretty good fever for 3 days every time they get their shots. Cora just gets a mild temperature.  I just called and left a message with the pediatrician's nurse letting them know their temps.  He wants to know every time they run a fever, even if it is from their shots.

Both babies are healthy and growing. Cora weighs 16 pounds 4 ounces (46th percentile) and is 26 inches long (48th percentile). Colt weighs 17 pounds 4 ounces (36th percentile) and is 25.5 inches long (10th percentile).

Can you believe they were preemies and not on the growth chart at all when born? Now Cora is approaching the 50th percentile.

We thought we lost Cora's rattle while we were out and about tyesterday, so while we were at Walmart we bought her a new one. We got home and of course, that's where it was. There are 3 things Cora is attached to. Her Taggie, her pink rattle, and her glow worm. Oh well! Now if one gets lost, she has another.

She also loves her puppy dog, Lucy.  She squeals and lunges for her anytime she comes near.

We picked Zac and Abby up from school yesterday when school was released and went to visit "granny and grandpa Mike".  I brought them some more meals.  Sara came out after work.  It was nice to see her too.  We hadn't seen her since Christmas.  Zac and Abby hasn't seen anyone since Christmas.  No one got out much this winter.  It's nice for spring to finally be here and to feel like I'm coming out of my cave.  Haha!

Zac and Abby are on spring break now.  No school today or next week.  We have no big plans.  I think Aunt Amanda and Aunt Kayla plan on taking Zac and Abby to the Children's Museum one day next week.

I plan on baby proofing the living room/house.  We bought 2 baby gates yesterday.  I swear, we cannot go to Walmart without spending a ton of money.  I also bought a huge thing of oxyclean.  That does help with baby clothes.  I bought a new coffee pot too.  I can't remember if ours was a wedding present or a housewarming gift, but it's been around over 8 years.  It served it purpose well, but for the last few months, it's been leaking water on the counter before it all gets into the pot.  It's slowly been getting worse.  I'm drinking my first pot of coffee from my new pot this morning.  I know, I know... How exciting!  Hahaha!  For the amount of coffee I drink, I think buying my first coffee pot in 8 years is pretty good.

It's just an inexpensive doll from Walmart, but Cora got her very first baby doll yesterday.

Colton "kissed" her too.  Shawn said it was his first girlfriend.  ;)

Tasty

And Colton was playing with a tractor from Christmas

Look at that drool.

Also tasty.

Funny!

Mine are "artificial".

Colt eating the baby doll's foot.

Just being cute.

Playing with toys.

I love my new baby, mom!

Cora touches Colton's face and makes him laugh.

I love Colt's reaction to Cora's excitement.

"Talking" to each other.

Toy Hog

Have a wonderful weekend!!!
