We just put the twins down for the night. They are good sleepers. Abby is spending the night with a friend. Zac is watching movies. Shawn and I are watching the winter Olympics at the moment. I was trying to figure out how to share all of my short video clips on here without posting them and using all of my free space on here for those that are not on Facebook. (Ahem, Janelle ;) I'm just teasing you!) I can only use so much storage until I have to pay for this blog, and I'm cheap... I mean thrifty. I decided upload those video clips to youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tECH5nqfoiA Here is the link. This clip was taken 6 months ago today. You can then click on my name and go through all of the videos I have posted. Once you get to the bottom, click load more to see them all. I'll try to post a link each time I add a new video. I need to find someway of doing that with my pictures too.
What do you think of the pictures I took with my new lens I got for Christmas? I'm trying to learn to take photos that look halfway professional.
Abby brought home a cold and got over it in 2 days, but she decided to share it with me first. Boo! I hope it goes away soon. My voice is almost gone.
So, now that it is over, I will post about it. At my 6 week post partum appointment, I had a small lump in my right breast. My OBGYN said it was probably a clogged duct, but to keep an eye on it. It slowly kept getting bigger and no amount of heat or massaging would get rid of it. After 7 weeks, I went back to have it checked out. I saw my Dr. Tuesday, December 10th for a lump. He worked me in for a mammogram the next Monday (Dec 16th). I had the results of my mammogram within minutes. The tech looked at it and then worked me in for an ultrasound right away. He told me he was 90% sure it was just a cyst but wanted to work me in for an ultrasound right away to confirm the mass was not solid. Unfortunately, I was in that 10%. The same tech came and talked to me immediately after my ultrasound as well. My OBGYN did a fine needle aspiration (biopsy) on Tuesday (Dec 17th, the next day). The results were back Friday (Dec 20th) and were inconclusive and I had to have a core needle biopsy the next Monday (Dec 23rd). Christmas was that week, so I got my results Friday (Dec 27th). My results from pathology were still inconclusive, but they were leaning towards a lactating adenoma. My OBGYN cut it out Wednesday January 8th. I got my results back Tuesday January 14th. It was a benign lactating adenoma. Thank God!
I feel very blessed right now. 4 years ago, we had no kids. Now we have 4. Our family is complete. We are all healthy. The babies are growing. Zac and Abby are smart and work hard. I pray things stay as perfect as they are now.
Have a great night!
~Sam
