Monday

We are doing great here.  Zac and Abby are playing a game right now at the table since its raining a little out.    They started with Trouble.  Then they moved on to UNO for the whole 5 minutes.  Now they are getting the Triominos out.  They started on our room addition today.  Unfortunately, the rain stopped that.  They worked on what they could anyway.  Everything is measured and marked off.  The foundation guys will be out tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday morning to get it started and hopefully done quickly.  The kids, Shawn, and I can't wait to decorate the nursery.  I'm ready to get the cribs put up, etc.  I know Zac and Abby will be great helpers.  They were excited to see them show up today.  I am excited too.  I am making sure we include them in everything.  I love all of my kids to pieces!

I have been pregnant for 193 days.  I have 87 to go before I'm 40 weeks.  The odds in making it to 40 weeks with twins are slim.  I'm 27 weeks 4 days pregnant.  The couples I've known that had twins made it to:
34 Weeks 2 Days
35 Weeks 1 Day
35 Weeks 2 Days
36 Weeks 1 Day

I don't know anyone personally that made it further than that with twins.  That's anywhere from 6 weeks 5 days to 8 weeks 4 days from now for me.  OMG!  The babies are going to be here before we know it.  Our babies should be around 2 pounds 12 ounces on Thursday.  I imagine they are around 2 pounds 8 ounces or so today.

This might sound crazy.  It's real, but its still not real.  I think about childbirth a lot now.  I want to be prepared.  I know that twins can come early and need NICU time.  I pray that doesn't happen, but I want to be prepared in case it does.

I will be 30 weeks 2 days when we have our childbirth class.  We are taking the class that combines everything and lasts all day.

I'm not sure that its going to be real until they are here.
